Treatments are based on the Jing Method © a blend of the best of the advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West including: deep tissue and sports massage techniques, heat therapy, trigger point therapy, myofacial work, accupressure and assisted and non-assisted stretching. It’s a truly holistic approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience.
After a thorough initial assessment an individual treatment plan is made to address the pain condition or desired outcome for treatment. Treatments range from 60 - 90 minutes, aftercare advice will be given as well as exercises to aid recovery and provide tools to manage the pain condition from home.
Although you will feel improvements after your first treatment, if you have a longstanding, chronic condition this will not be fixed in one session, treating these problems can be compared to peeling an onion, each problem layer will be dealt with until we have a satisfactory outcome.
